The Evmolpeya choir, appointed a Goodwill Ambassador was founded in July 2006 by the conductor and composer Ms Rada Slavinska and the art manager Ms Ganka Yankova.
The choir consists of 45 singers. Its repertoire includes primarily four-part a capella works representing different periods and trends – from Renaissance to Modernity, from sacral music to cheerful folklore songs.
The choir has recorded at Radio Plovdiv, Bulgarian National Television, the Belgian national radio, it has released a CD ”Gloria in Excelsis” and has perfomed at over 180 concerts in the country and abroad.

The Evmolpeya choir has had 12 international tours and has participated in festivals such as:
XIIth Festival Choral International en Provence - France,
Eurotreff Musik Ulm 2007 and Schwabisch Hall’08 - Germany,
Xth European Youth Music Festival in Passau - Germany,
VII Bulgariada Arts Festival in Serbia,
XII Festival Choral International de Neuchâtel - Switzerland,
XXVI International Festival“Sarajevo Winter 2010″
The choir has participated in international cultural events:
the opening of the exhibition "The Ancient Bulgarian Civilizations - Thracian Gold" in Basel and Bern - Switzerland by the Bulgarian President;
the opening of a museum of "Bulgarian Culture" in Edirne by the Bulgarian Minister of Culture;
presentation of Bulgaria and Bulgarian culture as part of the program celebrating the 100th anniversary of Bulgaria's independence in the Kingdom of Belgiumand and the the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg;
the opening of an Austro-Bulgarian Cultural Forum in Vienna на under the patronage of the Bulgarian Minister of Culture;
concert for the commanders and military personnel at EUFOR's Camp Butmir in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
